Мой скромный вклад.

Чистая конъюнктура при этом, никаких таких забот о расцвете фотографии.

Я думаю, что такой журнал можно сделать популярным и прибыльным. Есть такие соображения… Ну, скажем, журнал портфолио, журнал успехов, главное портфолио, обложка — ваш выбор, топ-фотографы — наш выбор… Есть спрос на спорт — почему не использовать, а?

Тем более, в силу существующей ниши…

Это позволит также создавать различные сателлитные проекты, утилизующие уже готовые журнальные материалы в новых удобных формах. Прибыль будет еще выше — при минимизации затрат.

Поэтому, я думаю, журнал нужен.

В электронном варианте можно не просто пэдээфки рассылать, а сделать что-нибудь более информативное.

Reader feedback, видео-аудио интервью, статьи, конкурсы, биографии, колонки ведущих авторов в виде блогов.

2-х язычная версия и мировое господство.

По крайней мере фото-часть должна быть международной и продаваться везде.

Некоторая часть (или даже весь) онлайн-версии может быть и бесплатной, для продвижения печатной части.

Чем клонировать хорошее чужое, лучше зделать оригинальное свое.


Границы в информационном пространстве достаточно прозрачны и ориентироваться исключительно на белорусскую аудиторию - глупость.
Как минимум - все русскоязычное население Земли, но лучше - все зрячее.

Зачем париться и пролазить на радио, если можно mp3 файл выложить,
и каждый сможет слушать сказки Поталаха на плеере или через мега-акустику дома (чтобы соседи тоже слышали)

Хотя можно и журнал с виниловой пластинкой. Для состоятельных ценителей.


Сами разбирайтесь, реально это, как это сделать, делать ли это вообще.

Все, радостно могу выходить на пенсию. Теперь…

Насколько дорого теперь компакт к журналу соорудить? В смысле, тираж?

Что, помимо бонусов для распечатки, там может быть?

Обычно упаковывают файлами для уроков, тестами камер, рамками…

Если бы журнал делал я, то пригласил бы профессиональных дизайнеров к разработке визуальной концепции... причем искал бы среди тех, кто не боится экспериментировать... хотя эксперименты того же Клинова в его Партизане мне совсем не нравятся...

А еще обязательно пригласил бы к активному участию в отборе материалов таких людей, как Владимир Парфенок с его многолетним журнальным опытом, Валерий Лобко...

Но для начала ставил бы для себя более амбициозные планы, а именно выход на рынок ближайших соседей — Россия, Украина, Литва, Польша...

In January of 2005, Derek Powazek and Heather Powazek Champ ignited a spark. They saw an opportunity in the quality of images on photo sharing sites like flickr.com; they saw unrecognized capability and unrecognized captures. Through their own talent and that of the online photography community, Derek and Heather put together JPG Issues 1 through 6, a beautiful collection of photographs, articles, and interviews. Some of the highlights that captured the spirit of JPG: the Issue 2: Lost interview with a woman fighting breast cancer and documenting her journey, the Issue 5: Photography is Not a Crime cut-out guide to photographers' legal rights, the Issue 6: Oops how-to article on tossing your camera to get kaleidoscopic images. Printing of the 6" x 9" paperbacks was arranged through a print-on-demand website so that Derek and Heather could put this collection together on their own, as a labor of love, with the community contributing an enormous pool of great images.

JPG has come a long way since its beginnings. JPG is now printed by 8020 Publishing six-times each year as a full-sized magazine delivered to subscribers and newsstands around the world. Over a million community votes were cast on 10,000 photos and stories submitted to the last issue. But the creative energy, the talented community, the passion for showcasing excellent work: all of these elements originated in the Early Issues and continue on today. From Issue 1: Origin to Issue 6: Oops, this collection embodies the spirit of the fun in photography: the moment, the capture, the creativity, the experiment, the accident. The Early Issues served as the inspiration for the magazine and community that would follow, and we hope you enjoy them.

The magazine is 390 pages, 6 inches wide, 9 inches tall, perfect-bound, 20-pound white interior paper, full-color CMYK interior ink, 100-pound white exterior paper, full-color CMYK exterior, and contains zero ads.

I recently came across the technique of light painting, it intrigued me and I just had to try it, there is no photoshop used on any of these photos at all, it is all done through the camera, light painting is the most fun ever, all photographs are taken in the middle of the night, the locations were pitch black.
